People are messed up. There have always been plagues, famines, wars, barbarian invasions, corrupt and even evil political leaders, rampant hatred and foolishness, etc. etc. So, because I don't have historical amnesia I can accept what's going on philosophically.

Also it looks like a shift away from leftism and globalism is occurring all over the western world (the "paradigm shift"), so I really feel like things may get better in the foreseeable future, even though they may get worse before then. So I speak out about stuff like why the west should come down hard on communist China, but still I am fairly sanguine. Not only have we a bunch of hostile states in charge of our manufacturing that spread diseases into our nations, we have a massive looming demographic danger all cheered on by globalist hostile elites and hateful progressives like Soros and those similar of his tribe. From the importation of millions of Sub Saharan Africans, Indians, Pakistanis, Muslims and other pillaging forces into Europe. Hostilities and dangers abound, with no conscious effort or any protective measures in place.

Meanwhile the green left goes on Birth Strikes to say we shouldn't have children becasue of muh "over-population" , while demographics of Western nations are haemorrhaging and are the greenest in the world. No surprise it's China, India and Africa who are the biggest polluters and with the biggest populations.

Anyway all these existential crises aside, I am left to try and gather myself in the wake of these looming calamities while our own people blissfully ignore the iceberg (or essentially the dangers are censored in 1984 fashion). While back to composure, how is one supposed to not "get mad, get mad as hell" to paraphrase the Network, while keeping right actions and karma? I've noticed that of late your own words have become more bitter, so how are we to present ourselves in the face of current horrors, most venerable?
Hermeticnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8485583244199236996.post-69306594824285567342020-05-11T21:13:13.819-07:002020-05-11T21:13:13.819-07:00I'm no expert on Tibetan Buddhism, but I'd...I'm no expert on Tibetan Buddhism, but I'd guess that MOST lamas aren't into buggery, and some are allowed to have sexual relations, at least with a woman. But it sounds like a good idea to use the coming upheavals in China as an opportunity to regain Tibetan sovereignty. Though I'm pretty sure they have approximately zero military power other than maybe strategic curses and the help of wrathful deities.Paññobhāsahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14148206217028034038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8485583244199236996.post-6248117682725343972020-05-11T20:37:31.209-07:002020-05-11T20:37:31.209-07:00Meanwhile the Tibetan lamas are too busy banging t...Meanwhile the Tibetan lamas are too busy banging their students to see they ought to use thid debacle as an excuse to form a political coalition that would allow them to militarily retake Tibet. And they can't claim its a vinaya issue and they're afraid of bad karma, since they're just fine with buggery.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8485583244199236996.post-24370592078244419962020-05-09T13:51:42.188-07:002020-05-09T13:51:42.188-07:00I do accept the idea of karma/kamma, so I think a ...I do accept the idea of karma/kamma, so I think a government based on ruthless amorality and the crushing of basic human rights is going to be at a disadvantage in some fundamental respects. (It is true though that any powerful government is going to do bad things.) Also I think we get the government and the world that we deserve, because the experience of it is the fruition of our own kamma (=our own doing). But I can't help but feel that some systems, like Chinese Communism or EU style globalism, are morally inferior and subject to cosmic retribution, so to speak.Paññobhāsahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14148206217028034038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8485583244199236996.post-16850374711256826132020-05-09T13:09:20.527-07:002020-05-09T13:09:20.527-07:00I expect this will backfire on them if this was do...I expect this will backfire on them if this was done with such diabolical motives. It will backfire on all who see such wide scale misfortune as a opportunity. And surely even the innocent will suffer since they depend on such evil hearts that lead them... But depending on evil/ignorant people may not be as innocent as first thought also. We all suffer because of our collective apathy and mental sluggishness. Even if we are conditioned to be mentally passive and totally influencable to the strong propaganda. It like they say ignorance is thr mother of defilement. And, misery loves company... So perhaps as a collective humans need a ride awakening. Perhaps some of the biblical allegories may manifest or are manifesting due to our total disregard for the Natural order and common sense in general.

No efforts are wasted though. Wrong and right efforts alike bring their fruits. This isn't taking solace in the potential that these people should suffer for such evil deeds but just a reflection. And any pain and suffering experienced is probably necessary so long as they can be honest and observant enough to recognize their errors and to learn from them. Pain is a good teacher but most just focus on their misfortune unfortunately.

If there is a opportunity here perhaps it is how we respond. I feel like we would need some kind of mass event where all these rulers are totally abandoned and disregarded by the masses. Similar to how Ghandi lead India's independence movement. Sadly, I'm not confident that the masses would have the discipline or endurance for such a world wide renunciation... But still anyone capable of acting (everyone) should do all they can to at least due right and this starts in their own hearts and minds.

It is pretty glum. But time marches on I guess.

Peace.Inmanusnoreply@blogger.com
