Several years ago while talking with one of my roommates, I stated I hoped people would 'reclaim' the original 'swastika' symbol, and here you are. One of them anyway. Cool. Good for you!Anonymous2https://www.blogger.com/profile/06513857915532856156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8485583244199236996.post-2661157530425978012021-01-30T18:42:24.131-08:002021-01-30T18:42:24.131-08:00The Aenead also makes the main character a huge cr...The Aenead also makes the main character a huge crybaby. Just goes to show that education has always been run by leftist retards, because they couldn't get real jobs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8485583244199236996.post-6438908859056051582021-01-29T18:28:58.860-08:002021-01-29T18:28:58.860-08:00The Iliad and the Odyssey seem to be one of those ...The Iliad and the Odyssey seem to be one of those works that can be interpreted as many numbers of ways as there are readers. I’ve seen it interpreted as as pro war, anti war, amoral, immoral, ethical, and even as a metaphor for spiritual wayfaring. This latter being an interpretation I’ve come across most recently. I was quite skeptical of this reading at first but then I kept coming across this interpretation in Platonic and NeoPlatonic writings, so that I’m now convinced that it was seen this way to the mystically inclined in antiquity. The Iliad and Odyssey really was to the Hellenistic world what the Bible is to our Western world, therefore open to all analogous interpretation.God’s own foolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15170135893647463391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8485583244199236996.post-1892406330005840022021-01-28T15:20:43.764-08:002021-01-28T15:20:43.764-08:00Ven. Nevermind, I remembered monks aren't allowed to say.

Anyway, I made some Buddhist business cards that I print and give to family and friends. I also leave them in random places where I think people might find them. You know, to reduce ignorance and suffering.

These have an attempt of summing up The Four Noble Truths on one side. The other side has a QR code linking to a PDF version of What The Buddha Taught by Walpola Rahula and a QR code linking to The Buddha's Teaching As It Is by Bhikkhu Bodhi. The background is made of left-facing swastikas because it's a famous Buddhist symbol. I'm part of The Reclaim The Swastika symbol, so I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. I paid a graphic designer to make these. Anyone can feel free to use these in an appropriate manner! :)

https://imgur.com/a/wzPw4kcABTnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8485583244199236996.post-20748771199508368702021-01-28T14:27:35.298-08:002021-01-28T14:27:35.298-08:00I don't think it was originally a progressive ...I don't think it was originally a progressive type of garbage, but I can see it being heavily modified to anti-greek propaganda.

This text made a compelling case.HeirOfSigmahttps://linktr.ee/heirofsigmanoreply@blogger.com
